Scots Get In On The Festival Act

The NME award nominated RockNess may be one of the smaller UK festivals but it promises not to disappoint in 2012. The star studded line up includes the likes of Mumford & Sons, Biffy Clyro, Ed Sheeran, Noah & the Whale, for the full line up check out RockNess.co.uk

The only negative I find with RockNess is that all the artists involved fit neatly in to 1 of 2 categories: Rock or Dance. I think this limits its appeal of it and personally I would like to see a few more diverse acts. Other than that I can't find fault with the festival: it's in a beautiful location and appears to be very well organised. There are still tickets available if you fancy spending the weekend up north listening to some great rock or dance music.

T in the Park is now one of the major festivals in the UK. It attracts huge stars from all around the world and 2012 is no exception >>>>>>>>>>>

Despite the festival line up including some huge stars from the UK, if you just look at the main headline acts the line up would not have looked out of place 10 years ago. I think the line up lacks a few big international stars. In 2011 Beyonce headlined a night of TITP and I feel this year is lacking a star of her quality.  However there are still many great acts attending TITP this year and I'm sure those who have bought tickets will not be disappointed!
The last batch of tickets for this years TITP went on sale this morning. There are still a limited number of tickets available so check T in the Park Tickets and make sure you don't miss out.

Here is a few highlights from the 2011 TITP headline act Coldplay just to get you in the mood for this year's festival.
